A Guide to Walker’s Words

Image by Author

I like to create things; it gives me a sense of fulfillment.

I wouldn’t call myself as a writer per se. Words and language comprise just another facet for creation like any tangible medium.

Crafting pieces into something I feel does justice to the material, while becoming more than the sum of its parts; I find very satisfying. Translating images from the mind’s eye, using only our hands and thoughts, to transmute the ethereal into physical.

As we trundle along in life, we accumulate knowledge, and maybe even a little bit of wisdom. Sometimes the easy way, sometimes the hard way; it’s all a part of the adventure. I like to try and share these learnings and hope to imbue at least a small insight into every piece. To make the path a little easier for those who wish to follow.

As my writings have expanded and become somewhat eclectic, it seemed time for a little curation. The works have organically sorted into a few loose categories, and the kicker used in each piece will straight up identify which vein that post it falls into; should you only wish to follow a certain type.

So far, these groups fall as;

· Maker
· Writer
· Rhymer

Maker;

Tangible things that I have made or repaired.

Maker

Writer;

A collection of short stories and other creative writing.

Writer

7 stories
Basket hanging in front of weathered timber

Rhymer;

A collection of poems.

Rhymer

A closeup of sand with calm water

Thanks,

Kind Regards,
Walker.
